Torah Byrne was always intended to broaden our appeal. I named it after my children because I wanted it to reflect something that could reach across ages and stages of life. I wanted these to be clothes that felt relevant and beautiful not just to me, but to women in different seasons of life—something they could see themselves in and make their own.
Salmon and Sage, a Torah Byrne collection, is deeply personal in that endeavor.
A Personal Shift
Last summer brought some big life changes for me. I was struggling to trust in letting go, while also carrying a deep belief that the best was still yet to come. I took comfort in knowing I came from a long line of strong women who shaped me and sacrificed for me, and I found myself thinking about the kind of woman I wanted to be moving forward.
To me, salmon represent perseverance and the courage to keep moving, even against the current. They symbolize fertility, renewal, and the cyclical nature of life. That spirit shows up in the collection in a softer, more feminine way. We leaned a little harder into pleats, gathers, and tucks—details that bring movement, shape, and grace.
Meaning in the Details
Sage brought a different but equally important meaning. It symbolizes purification and cleansing, but also longevity, wisdom, emotional strength, and clarity. That feeling shaped the collection too. Even with its softer details and feminine touches, the overall look remains clean and simple.
And that is how Salmon and Sage came to life—rooted in perseverance, renewal, wisdom, and hope.
The colors are, of course, Salmon and Sage, but we also added Porcelain, an off white that keeps the palette feeling light and fresh, and Sea Thistle, a purpley-blue that adds depth.
The Collection Comes to Life
The styles carry that same balance. The Graceful Blouse has an ease that still feels refined. The oversized drop shoulder tee brings a relaxed, youthful spirit. The Dainty Cardigan offers a more shaped and slimmer take that can be worn as a cardigan, blouse, or shirt. The Pleat Pant has a wide leg and flowy appeal that feels both easy and expressive. The Joyful Dress is a shorter dress with a full skirt and deep pockets, while the Sundress is a longer tank style with pleats and a high waist seam that gives it beautiful movement.
A Reflection of the Original Vision
This collection came from a very personal place, but I think that is what gives it its heart. It feels feminine, but still simple. Youthful, but still grounded. It carries the quality and integrity that matter so much to me, with 100% linen sourced from the same European factories we have trusted for years.
More than anything, this collection feels like a reflection of what I hoped Torah Byrne could be from the start: a line with its own point of view, its own character, and its own spirit—something personal, yet expansive enough to resonate with women in many different seasons of life. My hope is that Salmon and Sage meets you where you are, with softness, beauty, and a sense of possibility. I invite you to explore the collection and find the pieces that reflect your own strength, wisdom, and renewal.
