Each year, when the dust settles after our Barn Sale, we’re left with unsorted boxes filled with FLAX pieces from seasons past, some dating back years, all in perfect condition despite being wrinkled from storage. These garments are a true testament to our quality: made to last, even after years in a box.
Some items are stamped as Bargain, some are oddities from collections gone by, and some are just waiting for the right home. We take these pieces and create 10-piece grab bags for just $100. That’s right, ten pieces of authentic FLAX for the price of one modern-day item.
And believe it or not, packing them is part of the fun. We start by sorting by size, then by style type—tops, bottoms, dresses, and more. From there, we hand-pick a mix to create a good balance of shapes and textures. We aim for variety in every box: long and short, loose and structured, layering pieces and stand-alones. Sometimes, if we find pieces that work well together, we’ll even build a little outfit into the mix to help spark styling ideas.
Here’s what to expect:
