I bought the pants in the medium size, which are loose fitting on me, and exactly how I like to wear my clothing. They are true high rise hitting right at the waist, the elastic waist is comfortable (neither too loose nor too snug), even in larger sizes the leg does taper and the length remains cropped hitting above the ankles.
